How to check Udyam Registration Certificate status online?

we discussed in details about Udyam Registration and procedure to be followed while applying Udyam Registration. In this part of the blog series on Udyam Registration, we will discuss about steps to be followed for checking the registration certificate status online.

Udyam Registration earlier known as Udyog Aadhar Memorandum (UAM), is launched by Government and made effective from 1st July 2020. All enterprises who are eligible for registration as Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise(MSME) shall apply for Udyam registration via portal. On successful submission of the application, Udyam Registration number is generated.

The registration number is a unique 16 digit identification number for MSME. The number is in the following format:

UDYAM-RJ-00-0123456

Once number is generated, the registration certificate will be sent to applicant in next 5-10 days to their registered email id. Further, one can also track the certificate status online also on the portal.

Steps to be followed for checking Udyam Registration Certificate status:

  • Go to Print Certificate tab on the Portal

  • Enter your Udyam Registration Number.

  • Choose OTP option:

    a. OTP on Mobile as filled in application

    b. OTP on Email as filled in application

  • Click on Validate & Generate OTP.

  • Enter the OTP received and on successful validation of OTP, you will be able to download your certificate
